Amora’s world is turned upside down as Bastian fills her in on uprising led by Kaven, a treacherous, power hungry villain. 

An unlikely crew emerges comprised of a pirate, a princess, a stowaway, and a mermaid sets sail to face this monstrous threat.  

Magic, mermaids, an enchanted pirate ship, and a fierce princess: this book lured me in like a siren and I’m glad I answered the call. This was a fun YA novel with a twist-filled plot of adventure, sacrifice, a sprinkle of romance, betrayal, and magic, magic, magic…  The ending is a bit of a cliff-hanger. Fortunately, there’s a sequel so I won’t be kept in suspense for long.
