Spring Intentions

I find the change of seasons to be a wonderful time to reset & revisit old and new intentions.

I'm going to share my process with you here and also my personal list.

Setting Your Intentions

  • CREATE SACRED SPACE

- cleanse (sage; palo santo; sweetgrass; etc.)
- crystals (clear quartz, sodality, obsidian, & citrine are some examples of powerful intention-setting crystals but really whatever resonates with YOU is what I believe you should use)
- any meaningful totems ( I like to have my Ganesh statue nearby, for example.)

  • CENTERING/ GROUNDING

- pranayama (breath)

  • CALL UPON YOUR HIGHER POWER

- (God, Universe, Nature, Krishna, mermaids, etc. WHATEVER resonates with YOU.)

- ask for the STRENGTH, LOVE, & GUIDANCE needed to follow through with your intentions. I like to ask them to please reel me back in when I lose my drive or sense of purpose.

  • CREATING YOUR INTENTIONS

- BE SPECIFIC. I find the more specific you are, the better.

-consider the areas of your life you may have been neglecting or would simply like to enhance and shine a little more light on. i.e.- family, spirituality, happiness, kindness, wisdom, health, relationships, career, social life, inner journey, community

- envision how you will FEEL when your intentions manifest; as if it already has manifested

- I will include some questions that may help you create your intentions

- (note: intentions do not have to be specific actions! they can simply be how you want to FEEL.)

  • WRITE YOUR INTENTIONS

- grab a piece of paper and a pen

I like to physically write down my intentions. It feels more real; more concrete to me. It also helps hold me accountable and serves as a reminder. I like to keep my intentions in a place I check often. Post-its can be a great tool!

  • PLANT YOUR INTENTIONS & WATCH THEM GROW

I haven't done this myself yet but I am very excited to do that this spring. Make a copy of your intentions and after cleansing them; placing a crystal on them; kissing them; WHATEVER, plant them in the earth. Don't have a garden? A pot works just as well. Dig a great big hole and plant them. Place soil on top of them and then plant seeds. As you nourish and nurture your plant, it will help you remember to nourish and nurture YOURSELF with the same love. Watch yourself grow and eventually BLOOM.

How cool is that????!

  •   THANK THE UNIVERSE
    - I will say something along the lines of: "Thank you for guiding me through the execution of my intentions. Thank you for helping me manifest my deepest desires in keeping they are aligned with my highest good & the good of all involved."
